God is Our Help

 NEED HELP? (Psalm 46)

God is our refuge and strength,
A very present help in trouble. [abundantly available for help]
Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change
And though the mountains slip into the heart of the sea;
Though its waters roar and foam,
Though the mountains quake at its swelling pride. Selah.
On some days, we may feel as if our world has been shaken and everything we depend upon has slipped into the heart of the sea. But if we put our hope in God, we have no need to fear. He is our unshakable refuge. In fact, sometimes the Lord will allow all of our earthly security to fail us so that we will learn to depend upon Him better. -Charles F. Stanley Life Principles Bible Notes
Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us…-Ephesians 3:20
God loves to surprise His faithful people with answers to their prayers that far exceed anything they could hope for or imagine (Ex. 14:10–14; 2 Chr. 20:5–27; Acts 12:5–17). The Lord has wonderful plans for your life, so do not be discouraged by disappointments along the way. Keep following Him faithfully, and continue believing that He will answer your prayers in a manner that is better than anything you have ever dreamed or envisioned. -Charles Stanley
Therefore:
Let go of your concerns! Then you will know that I am Elohim. I rule the nations. I rule the earth. -Psalm 46:10
Although God will sometimes display His glory in amazing ways that are impossible to ignore, most of the time, we meet Him in the quietness of our hearts. So when chaos threatens, remember to seek Him, and you will have peace. “In quietness and trust is your strength” (Is. 30:15). -CS . (shared from my brother in Christ, Jack White)
